Rocky Road Stir Down

Our unofficial tasting notes for the Morris Tokay Barrel expression are ‘Rocky Road- butterscotch, milk chocolate, and marshmallows’. We’re leaning right into these flavours with this decadent stir down serve.

Ingredients

60ml Morris Tokay Barrel Whisky

2 dashes aromatic bitters

15ml chocolate peanut butter syrup

60ml aerated vanilla cream

Drinking chocolate to garnish 



Chocolate peanut butter syrup

1 cup drinking chocolate

1 cup caster sugar

1 cup water

2 tablespoons peanut butter

 

Method

  1. Add all ingredients for syrup together and whisk on low heat until combined.
  2. Add whisky, bitters and syrup to mixing glass.
  3. Add ice and stir.
  4. Strain into coupe glass.
  5. Float vanilla cream.
  6. Garnish with drinking chocolate.
