This year, we recognise 165 years since our founder and first family Chief Winemaker, George Francis Morris first planted grapes in the rich red soils of Rutherglen after the waves of the Victorian goldrush. In celebration, we have tasked our sixth generation and current family Chief Winemaker, Madden Morris, to dig through our vaults for access to two museum vintages, amongst some other wines that are staples amongst the Morris of Rutherglen portfolio. Making it the ultimate gift for any wine-lover this festive season.

2016 Morris Bin No. 158 Rutherglen Durif 750mL

MUSEUM RELEASE | Demonstrating beautiful dark plum and underlying vanillin on the nose, leading to a full-bodied wine – rich with dark berries and cherry complemented by aged complexity, still with many years ageing ahead.

2013 Morris Bin No. 186 Rutherglen Shiraz 750mL

MUSEUM RELEASE | A nose brimming with juicy fresh-cut cherries and soft spice, intertwined with cedar and vanilla notes. The palate is medium-to-full bodied with fleshy red fruit characters and velvety tannins, offering great length and longevity.

2022 Morris Bin No. 186 Rutherglen Shiraz 750mL

Fresh, spice and berry fruits aromas with subtle vanillin oak influence lead to a full-bodied palate, with rounded soft plum flavours, an integrated tannin structure and a long flavourful finish.

2021 Morris Basket Press Rutherglen Cabernet Sauvignon 750mL

Well-structured palate showing excellent varietal fruit characters of blackberry and blackcurrant finishing with well-integrated tannins.
