We are thrilled to announce that 36 SOUTH Whisky from the award-winning Morris distillery has just been awarded the CATEGORY WINNER and a GOLD MEDAL in the No Age Statement Blended Whiskies category at the 2025 World Whiskies Awards.

 

This prestigious recognition places our whisky among the finest in the world, a testament to the rich heritage, distinct flavour profile, and the promise of exceptional quality that this Australian Whisky provides. 

 

This award is not only a positive achievement for 36 SOUTH Whisky but also more widely for the Australian whisky industry, with Australian whiskies taking out 101 out of 550 medals at this year’s awards. It reinforces our belief that our nation’s unique approach and dedication to craftsmanship and regionality can stand proudly alongside the best and oldest whiskies in the world.
